01 · Navigation density
Visitors can find a lot before they know where to begin.
The public navigation and “Go to” list expose a large mix of services, tax-center utilities, articles, and nested IRS topics. That breadth is useful, but it can compete with a first-time visitor’s immediate decision.
02 · Appointment flow
The clearest appointment path is a phone call.
“Call now” and “Schedule Your Appointment” lead people back to the public number. A more explicit online first step could reduce uncertainty for visitors who are not ready to call.
03 · Competing signals
Portal login, subscribe links, contact content, featured articles, service links, and the primary phone CTA all share the homepage. Several carousel captions also read as generic or do not obviously connect to the firm’s named services. This concept treats those as opportunities to clarify the main online next step—not as a judgment on the firm’s work.
